For those of you who aren't into the TV propoganda machine today, try another state of mind .......
This has long been one of my top tens for 1982, just a solid show all the way. A great party show, a great flying down the interstate show, a great shake your thaang kinda show.

Just think guys - if you had gotten your girlfriend pregnant at this show, your kid would now be 24 years old. Scary isn't it?? OFLOL (Old fart laughing out loud).

But this show will take you back to those sweet scene years of the early 80's. Go read the reviews, it's worth it. The Scarlet >Fire is mythical, the Terrapin trans-mythical and the surprise post-Drums Truckin is really hot. This entire Aug-Sept 1982 period was really a peak for the band, and this is a convincing example.

Okay, so you're a die hard 1983 fan. Well, this one is a close second pick for me for today's flashback. 9/11/83 features an unusual setlist in Set Two, a Help>Slipknot into a Let it Grow. And the Truckin>Wang Dang Doodle>Morning Dew (yes you read that right) is really over the top.

enjoy you time-warping freaks!!
Dr. Flashback :-)

doctor F. ... i downloaded (from elsewhere) that 9/11/82 show around three weeks ago, and been loving it lots, great show from a great period in the GD canon, and on top of that timeless Scarlet > Fire, we get a Baby Blue as encore ... how cool is that! not to mention, but i always loved a Minglewood opener, sweet!
